Description of the fake LIE

The Guardian reported that the Russian president had won the conflict in Ukraine against the background of the situation developing in the Middle East due to the concentration of the West’s attention there. This is what the Russian media write.

Refutation TRUTH

Propagandists refer to the Today in Focus podcast, in which presenter Michael Safi discussed the current situation at the front with The Guardian correspondent Luke Harding, who has just returned from Ukraine.

According to StopFake experts, Harding did state that Ukraine’s counteroffensive stuck, but he also noted that Zelenskyy did not agree that Ukraine was in a desperate situation. The journalist said that the Ukrainians “do these incredible creative things, one, for example, was a strike using Storm Shadow missiles on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, which was spectacular and looks like it wiped out very many senior Russian officers.”

Harding did not say that Putin had the upper hand. On the contrary, at the end of the interview, he stressed that Ukraine needed to be given the weapons that would help defeat Russia. The sooner, the better.
