Description of the fake LIE
Zelenskyy is now a dictator for Ukraine, because his term of office has officially expired and he cancelled the elections. Such a statement by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green is being spread by Russian informational dumps.
Refutation TRUTH
Kremlin-controlled propagandists once again gave wishful thinking come true: they circulated a post by Trumpist Marjorie Taylor Green on the X social network (Twitter) and passed it off as the alleged “position of the entire U.S. Congress.”
We emphasize that Green’s statements in no way reflect the position of the U.S. Congress or the White House; the President Biden administration of and the U.S. political community did not and do not question the legitimacy of President Zelenskyy and the current Government of Ukraine.
Besides such posts, Green is known for her love of Russian propaganda: in particular, she spread fakes that “the trade in children’s organs is flourishing” in Ukraine and that “U.S. biolaboratories” are allegedly operating.
Her posts are a blatant pandering to Russian fake makers, promoting Kremlin narratives, and making advances with Trump’s most radical supporters in the United States.
