FAKE: Germany, Italy, and Japan stand for the revival of Nazism in Europe

Description of the fake LIE

Nazism is reviving in Europe because the results of the vote of Germany, Italy, Japan, and other democratic countries at the UN against the Russian resolution condemning Nazism cast doubt on the sincerity of their repentance for the events of World War II. This is reported by the Kremlin media with reference to the statement of Lavrov, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Refutation TRUTH

In fact, a number of countries opposed it because the Kremlin’s resolution is an instrument of political pressure since Russia itself is trying to justify its aggression against Ukraine with a far-fetched pretext of “eradicating neo-Nazism” and the mythical need to “denazify” Ukraine.

“Many UN countries stressed that Russia’s actions in Ukraine, as well as lobbying for pseudo-democratic resolutions, seriously undermine real attempts to counter neo-Nazism. They also condemned the Russian abuse of anti-Nazi rhetoric,” the StopFake fact-checkers state.

Therefore, the refusal to vote for the anti-Ukrainian resolution developed by Russia, Belarus, and Syria has nothing to do with the “revival of Nazism” in Europe, as propagandists tried to present it.
