Description of the fake LIE

The footage shows the title on the boxes and on the pipes with explosives — Bangalor: Torped Bangalor and the year of manufacture 04-2018 are written in yellow paint in English. This video was spread by HAMAS propagandists.

Refutation TRUTH

The charge of explosive in the pipe to overcome obstacles was always called Torpedo Bangalore. Neither is there any evidence on other samples of this weapon, where torpedo would be written as torped.

“The classic Torpedo Bangalore has not been produced since 2017, and instead the Advanced Performance Bangalore Torpedo (APBT) version has been supplied to the UK and the US. The name of the company Chemring Energetics UK was added to the abbreviation on it, but there is no a date in the 04-2018 format,” the fact-checkers of the StopFake project established.

In addition, the real Torpedo Bangalore is not marked with a date, but with a batch number, in which the date can also be encrypted. But the date was not marked openly.

Propaganda uses this fake to try to impose the idea that Ukraine or its partners supply/sell weapons to HAMAS militants for attacks on Israel.
