“We recommend giving Ukraine the candidate status, on the understanding that the country will carry out a number of important reforms,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said during a June 17 press conference. “Ukraine has clearly shown commitment to live up to European values and standards.”

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom visited Ukraine

Boris Johnson visited Ukraine for the second time during the full-scale war with Russia.

“We are with you! We will work to intensify sanctions against the Putin regime. We will continue to strengthen the diplomatic coalition around the world in support of Ukraine,” said the British Prime Minister in Kyiv.

Russian Forces launched a missile strike on Mykolaiv

As a result of the attack, residential buildings were damaged. At least two people were killed and 20 were injured.
