Short

The Russians state that supplying Ukraine with ATACMS missiles will not change the situation on the battlefield. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine believes otherwise.

Description of the fake LIE

The probable supply of American ATACMS missiles will not change the situation on the battlefield for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian media reported, citing Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov.

Refutation TRUTH

ATACMS ballistic missiles with a range of up to 300 kilometres can yield quite significant results, stated Yuriy Ignat, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thanks to this weapon, the Defence Forces will be able to destroy the enemy’s rear operational centres, command posts, ammunition depots, etc. Disrupting the enemy’s logistical channels is the key to the success of the Ukrainian defenders.

Therefore, the range of ATACMS will allow us to hit targets that would affect the course of the entire war. And the denial of this fact by propagandists is just a lie to reassure ordinary Russians and convince them that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing on the battlefield.
