Description of the fake LIE

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that “if Ukraine loses the war, it is because of the Jews.” This quote is shared by pro-Russian users.

Refutation TRUTH

This quote is a fake because such a statement by the President of Ukraine cannot be found either on his official pages or in Ukrainian or Western media.

“Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the actions of HAMAS and drew parallels between the current events in Israel and the Russian-Ukrainian war. Moreover, on the day of the HAMAS attack on Israel, President Zelenskyy condemned terrorism in his video address, emphasizing Israel’s right to self-defence,” fact-checkers of the Georgian project Myth Detector found out.

The fake quote attributed to Volodymyr Zelenskyy is related to the Russian narrative that after the outbreak of the war between Israel and HAMAS, the U.S. will redirect the aid assigned to Ukraine to help Israel.
