Description of the fake LIE
The President of Ukraine said that “if Ukraine loses the war, it will happen because of the Jews.” This is reported by Russian-speaking users of the social network X.
Refutation TRUTH
This statement cannot be found on the website of the Presidential Office, nor in Zelenskyy’s accounts on social networks. The president did not say such a thing in an interview with Ukrainian or foreign media.
The quote was invented and spread by one of the Russian accounts on X, which had previously spread pro-Kremlin fakes, VoxCheck journalists write.
In fact, Zelenskyy supported Israel in the war against HAMAS and stressed that Israel’s right to protection is beyond doubt.
