FAKE ALERT: “Zelenskyy wants to use tricks aimed at involving the U.S. in a war with the Russia”

Navigation and useful materials

Description of the fake LIE

During his visit to the United States, Zelenskyy, on the one hand, wants to get permission to strike deep into Russian territory and, on the other hand, to drag Washington into direct combat with the Russian Federation. Such delusions are replicated by Kremlin propaganda resources.

Refutation TRUTH

While developing cooperation with Western partners, in particular with the United States, Ukraine does not seek to involve them in a war with Russia. Kyiv’s goal is to receive assistance in accordance with the right to self-defence, guaranteed by the UN Charter.

Ukraine needs permission to strike with Western long-range weapons deep into the territory of the Russian Federation, exclusively to complicate the situation of the aggressor and force him to make a just peace.

The narrative of “escalation” that will allegedly “lead to war between the Russian Federation and the United States” is Moscow’s attempt to intimidate Ukraine’s Western partners and undermine their determination to provide military aid for Kyiv.
