FAKE ALERT: “Zelenskyy has ‘broken’ European diplomacy on the Donbas settlement”

Description of the fake LIE

It is President Zelenskyy who is responsible for the “disruption” of European diplomacy because, after the collapse of the Donbas agreements, diplomats’ statements have become rude, and a propaganda war is being waged on their part. This statement by the traitor of Ukraine, Viktor Medvedchuk, was spread by pro-Kremlin propagandist resources.

Refutation TRUTH

The diplomatic settlement mechanism created after the Russian occupation of Donbas in 2014 was broken by Moscow because it constantly violated the agreements reached in Minsk and, in the end, unleashed a full-scale war, cynically accusing Ukraine of preparing an “attack on Donbas.”

Even on the eve of a full-scale war, on February 19, 2022, the G7 Foreign Ministers issued a joint statement in which they noted that Russia was clearly violating the Minsk agreements.

The change in the tone of European diplomacy towards Russia is a natural response to the actions of the Kremlin, which, under the slogans of “protecting Donbas,” began to destroy entire cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

In addition, Russian propaganda has been threatening the EU states with war for the third year, to which the European diplomacy and politicians naturally react.
