Description of the fake LIE
The President of Ukraine purchased the villa of Joseph Goebbels, the Minister of Propaganda of the Third Reich, for EUR 8 mln. This is reported by the Russian Embassy in South Africa.
Refutation TRUTH
The source of the news is a video of Sabine Mels, an alleged former employee of the municipal real estate management company VIM, StopFake journalists noted.
She claims that in October 2023, the villa was acquired by the offshore company Film Heritage Inc, associated with Zelenskyy.
In fact, Sabine Mels has never worked at the WIM company and “quite accidentally” speaks with a Russian accent.
Villa Bogensee has not been sold or put up for sale. The municipality is wary of selling the object so that it does not end up in the hands of far-right figures.
