Description of the fake LIE
The Carambolage bar administration in Stuttgart posted an announcement in German and Ukrainian, urging visitors to refrain from discussing politics while watching Euro 2024 matches. The photo of this announcement was spread by propaganda resources.
Refutation TRUTH
This is a fake “announcement”. It was made in a graphic editor. In addition, this photo has nothing to do with the Carambolage sports bar.
This can be seen in the Google Maps photos and on the official website of the bar. The interior of the café is entirely different from the interior of the Carambolage bar; it is made in different styles and gamut of colors, as was established by the Ukrinform fact-checkers.
The Carambolage bar representative confirmed that the photo is fake and was not taken in their sports bar. Moreover, they added that the administration does not have such requirements for visitors.
