FAKE ALERT: “Ukraine is actively exchanging UAVs for fighters from Syria”

Navigation and useful materials

Description of the fake LIE

Ukraine is trying to replenish the reserves of the Armed Forces with terrorists. That’s why the “Kyiv regime” recently handed over a batch of UAVs to a radical Islamist group in Syria in exchange for a detachment of the “best” fighters. This is spread by Russian media, referencing “their own sources in the Syrian opposition.”

Refutation TRUTH

Russian-Syrian “patriots” continue to search in vain for “fighters” for Kyiv. But these and other similar accusations are completely groundless. There is no evidence for this.

Instead, as reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (HUR), impoverished war-ravaged Syria has become one of the countries where Russia is actively recruiting the population to conduct hostilities.

Mercenaries are promised passports of the Russian Federation and paid work, after which few return.

HUR also notes that Moscow has set up a scheme with travel firms to recruit Syrians for the war against Ukraine. Poor people are lured to work as security guards in Russian oil regions, and then “motivated” by higher wages for participating in “meat assaults” on the battlefield.
