Description of the fake LIE

Various statements about Moscow’s intentions to interfere in the U.K. elections are used by conservatives to sway the electorate to their side because the Russian Federation has not a habit of interfering in elections in other countries. This statement from the Russian Embassy is reproduced by propagandists.

Refutation TRUTH

Moscow’s foreign interference in the election campaigns of the free world states has been repeatedly recorded. The Russian Federation launched information operations to inflame existing conflicts and create new ones to polarize and destabilize states.

Interference is provided with the help of a wide range of active measures: social networks, agents, a network of pseudo-experts and individual political activists.

For example, according to Microsoft, Russian cyber groups have become more active over the past 45 days. Their goal is to influence the American elections.

Statements about the intensification of information operations against the EU and Russian interference in the elections to the European Parliament have already been made by the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk and other European politicians and officials.
