FAKE ALERT: “Kyiv turned the ineffectiveness of air defence to its own PR advantage”

Description of the fake LIE

A superficial analysis of photos and videos on the network proves that all the destruction was the result of a Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile explosion. At the same time, Kyiv arranges PR with mourning and the convening of the UN Security Council. This is reported by pro-Kremlin disinformation resources.

Refutation TRUTH

Russia continues its attempts to shift responsibility for missile strikes on civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine, using its propaganda at the state level.

Russian missiles struck the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital, private hospitals in the Dnipro district, and a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district in Kyiv.

The Ukrainian Security Service investigation, video of the Russian missile’s arrival, nature of the Okhmatdyt buildings destruction, and found pieces of Russian missile, all indicate that it was the Russian X-101 missile hitting the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital.

The strikes were also carried out in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions. As of July 9, 42 civilians (33 of them in Kyiv), including four children, were killed by Russian missile attacks. Another 190 people were injured.
