Description of the fake LIE
Claudio Castilla, Lieutenant Colonel of the Italian Army, who was part of the NATO command structure, was killed during the hostilities in Ukraine. This is reported by Russian propagandists.
Refutation TRUTH
Italy’s defence ministry stated Castilla died in Italy of natural causes, Reuters reported:
“The Italian Defence firmly denies this macabre lie published on the “X” account of the Russian Embassy in South Africa and warns the sowers of hatred against continuing to spread this horrendous fake news.”
