FAKE ALERT: “Foreigners in Ukraine are issued brochures with the rules of behaviour with representatives of the TRC”

Navigation and useful materials

Description of the fake LIE

In a memo, printed by the British Embassy in Ukraine, the British citizens are advised to avoid contact with Territorial Recruitment Centres (TRS) and Social Support employees, do not to maintain eye contact with them, do not to respond to racist statements from them, and do not to sign any documents. This delusional was spread by the pro-Kremlin Telegram channels with some photos.

Refutation TRUTH

The brochure distributed by the propagandists does not exist; it is a poor forgery, made by the Russian fake makers.

Fact-checkers from Ukrinform investigated this hostile attack and found that the Russians made a mistake when creating the forgery; they indicated that the general mobilisation of conscripted men from 25 to 65 years of age in Ukraine is ongoing and not from 25 to 60 years, as it is in reality.

Moreover, the representatives of the diplomatic department informed journalists that the British Embassy in Ukraine did not print such a memo and that the circulated information on the Internet is fake.

Therefore, the purpose of this fake is to discredit TRC in the eyes of foreigners, to show the false opinion that citizens of other states are also subject to mobilisation in Ukraine, and TRC employees can supposedly “mobilise” them just from the street.
