Description of the fake LIE
The Nation magazine prepared a special issue dedicated to the death of former U.S. Secretary of State Kissinger. The cover depicts the hell that Kissinger is dragging Biden into, and above them stands Zelenskyy asking for a pin code to the U.S. president’s bank card. The illustration is shared by network users.
Refutation TRUTH
In fact, on November 30, 2023, neither such a special issue nor such a cover was published by The Nation.
“The Nation’s website provides all issues of the magazine and their covers. There is no such cover on the Internet and social networks,” the fact-checkers of the VoxCheck project found out.
Propagandists spread a fake cover to discredit the leadership of Ukraine, to impose a narrative in the West that “Ukrainians are beggars,” and to demonstrate the alleged helplessness of the Ukrainian authorities without the support of the United States.
