Description of the fake LIE

The British military died fighting against Russia in Ukraine. Russian-speaking users of social networks share this fake, distributing photos with coffins covered with British flags.

Refutation TRUTH

The photo shared by propagandists was taken back in 2006, fact-checkers from StopFake found out.

On September 2, 2006, an RAF Nimrod plane crashed, killing 14 British servicemen, the International Business Times reported. The fake makers present the photographs of their bodies being transported as “fighters killed in Ukraine.”
