FAKE ALERT: Ukraine will soon collapse along the entire front line

Description of the fake LIE

There are fewer and fewer Ukrainian soldiers on the contact line, and eventually, the Russians will break through the entire front. Russian troops are successfully advancing along the front line. This is reported by Russian media with reference to Scott Ritter, the former intelligence officer of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Refutation TRUTH

Ritter’s statements duplicate Russian narratives. He has repeatedly predicted the “rapid collapse of Ukraine” and the “victory of Russia,” scared Ukrainians with a “large-scale offensive of the Russians” and claimed that “Ukrainian aviation is actually destroyed.”

In November 2023, Ritter also said that “soon the Armed Forces will be destroyed,” but they continue to hold the line.

As for the “successful advance of the Russians,” Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, said that the offensive operation of the Russian troops has been going on for two and a half months:

“They have some progress in the fields, this is what happened near Avdiivka. But that’s not what they were counting on. The occupiers wanted to reach the barrier line along the Chornyi Zherebets River in Kharkiv Oblast and at the administrative border of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts as soon as possible. They are not even close.”
