A conference on the restoration of Ukraine has started in Switzerland
The conference on the restoration of Ukraine is being held on July 4 and 5 in the city of Lugano in Switzerland. A large delegation from Ukraine is participating in the conference, in particular the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, several Ukrainian ministers and deputies.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part through video conference. According to him, Ukraine’s priorities are safety, technological efficiency, compliance with environmental standards, the use of green technologies, and the implementation of barrier-free access.
Ukraine needs $750 billion for 10 years on reconstruction
The Ukrainian government presented a plan for the recovery of Ukraine during the conference in Lugano. Among the projects for which funds are needed are the reconstruction of housing and infrastructure, ensuring energy independence, ensuring macro-financial stability, creating competitive access to capital.
Great Britain will join the restoration of Ukraine
In 2023, a conference devoted to the restoration of Ukraine will be held in Great Britain. The UK will also join the supervisory board to coordinate recovery efforts by Ukraine and allies.
